My background as a licensed clinical social worker has given me the skills and training in trauma informed mental health care.
There are 2 types of Trauma. Little “t” traumas and Big “T” traumas. Both have a significant impact on our perspective on life and our day to day functioning. Many Women don’t realize the traumas they have endured throughout their life and how it has shaped them. This is a “Trauma Informed Care” approach.
By helping women identify these experiences that have had an impact on them and helping them work through these experiences, I believe women can become empowered and acquire the life balance they desire.
